How to cut out a person from a photo
To lift a person out of a photo, open it in Image Cutout, left-click the person, and right-click the background to tidy the edges. The cutout updates as you click, and you can download a transparent PNG or drop the person onto a new background.
Tips for people
- One click on the torso usually grabs the whole person. Add a click on the head or legs if part is missed.
- Right-click gaps — between an arm and the body, for example — to keep them transparent.
- Hair edges are soft: the cutout is Segment-Anything quality, clean on the body and slightly soft on flyaway hair.
- Two people? Click the one you want and right-click the other to leave them out.

Can I put the person on a new background?
Yes. Press ＋ Design to place the cutout on a transparent, colour, gradient, or uploaded-image background.
Will it keep the space between the arm and body transparent?
Yes — right-click those gaps and they are excluded from the cutout.
Is my photo private?
Completely. Everything runs on your device and nothing is uploaded.
