How to cut out an image online — free, no Photoshop

You do not need Photoshop to cut something out of a photo. Image Cutout does it in your browser with a click: point at the object and a Segment Anything model traces the edges for you. It is free, there is no sign-up, and your photo is never uploaded.

Steps

1. Open your photo. Drag it in, paste it, or click Open image. It is encoded once, on your device.
2. Left-click the object you want to keep. The cutout appears on the right immediately.
3. Right-click to fix edges — click the background or a neighbouring object to exclude it. Add a couple of clicks until the selection is clean.
4. Download the transparent PNG, or press ＋ Design to drop it onto a new background.

Why it works well

Instead of tracing by hand, Image Cutout uses point prompts: one click tells the model which object you mean, and it returns the whole shape. Touching or identical objects are separated by right-clicking the one you do not want.
